This should be resolved now 👍

Charlie Francis Jack McDade🦩🌴 Ian Hawes We just launched an update and now the currentColor persists even if used outside of the global color. Can you try it again and let me know if this solves the issue for you?

It's not possible to put currentColor as the field is being validated. Currently to create an icon set for development we have to CMD click every single icon, in groups of 100 and then find the colour value and replace it with currentColor

Streamline Team
Charlie Francis: Hi, have you tried using the in-built CSS color editor?
C
Charlie Francis
Streamline Team: Yep that was part of my original comment. Luckily I am using svgo to clean up and minimise the SVG's that we are using, and they offer a convertColor plugin that changes any instance of a fill or stroke to currentColor.

Charlie Francis: We actually have a easy way to apply 'currentcolor' to all icons in as set.
- Go to the 'Global Color' setting for the set
- Click on the color and select CSS in the dropdown
The UI is pretty bad, we have many users who didn't realize we have this option. We will release in the next weeks a better UI, where you can see the 'CurrentColor' setting in the sidebar.

Charlie Francis: We also plan (later this year) to optimize the code with SVGO via our app, so you won't have to do this extra step. We are working on speeding up our users workflow :-)

Hi Jack! We now have the Global Color Change where you can set the color to currentColor for all the icons in a given familysolve. Does that solves the issue you're having with currentColor?

Victor: This does not appear to be live or it is not functioning.

Ian Hawes: Hi Ian, now the UI is a bit different, but most icon sets have this option. You can try it on streamline-light: https://app.streamlinehq.com/icons/streamline-light
After clicking on "Colors" button, click on the color, and then change the RGB option to CSS - and then the assets will use currentColor.
Please let me know how it goes!

That shouldn't be too complicated, I'm asking our developer team to add it to their todo list :-)
