Streamline Team: That would be great news!

Still planned or has the work started? I remember asking about a year ago.
You removed possibility to download IconJars without giving other option. Not cool.
Scrolling and working with web app is dreadful. At least let us download Jars!

Roman R: Hi Roman, it's Khushi from Streamline. Sorry to have kept you waiting for as long as we did. The desktop app is still in the pipeline but it doesn't have an ETA. We spent a large part of this year improving our web app and adding lots of new features (sorry to hear that it's still dreadful to use). Currently, our team is building a new Figma plugin that might be useful to you in the interim? We also grew our development team last week so I hope you'll see updates sooner. Thanks for your support and taking the time to send in this reply. I'll send you an email with some follow up questions!
Roman R
Streamline Team: Figma plugin will save one step, yes, but will not solve the fundamental problem of all icons being offline and slow to search and navigate.
I am still using your old iconJars from 2 years ago with iconJar app and it's great. Yes I am missing new icons that I paid subscription for. But what am I going to do against "make-everything-online-and-charge-more" trend?
You may be following Figma model but you can not do that without destroying your existing customers experience. Maybe you need to follow Sketch model? To have some online component without sacrificing what is great about your product.
You were just about the only icon library with Jars and offline capability. Can't you sell that as your USP/differentiator, and not jump to that bandwagon with everyone else?
Streamline Team
Roman R: Thanks for the detailed response on why we should be bringing the desktop app sooner. I'll relay this and the rest of the feedback back to the team. How would it sit with your workflow by having a desktop app to search in and also within iconsjar to search everytime you start a new project? 🤔
Roman R
Streamline Team: Yes that will be great. Anything other than webapp will be great.

I use IconJar for all my icons and ideally... ideally... it would be nice if icons can be imported into your App or the other way around. Having multiple apps to find icons is not very effcient.
Streamline Team
Roland: Sorry for the delay in getting back — I never got a notification for this.
This is incredibly helpful feedback! đź“ť
